Contra returns to consoles this year in the form of Contra Rebirth, coming to Nintendo WiiWare. The game looks to carry that retro feel with a shiny, glossy graphical update. As we saw Megaman 9 come out last Summer and were hoping — PRAYING — for more childhood favorites to come back to life, we’re happy to see Rebirth. Contra 4 was a terrific DS game, and if Rebirth carries an inkling of that feel and game play, we’ll be a happy bunch.
