Guest review written and contributed by: Bigmak

EA Sports have developed another “WiiFit”-style game for the Nintendo Wii.  Actually, there are only about 4 in total that involve the Wii balance board to actually engage with the game.  In fact, this game goes leap years beyond WiiFit, including more exercises and being quite addictive!

I just got this game and I must say: it kicked my ass so hard that I am still feeling the ache!

Read on for the review!

Pros

- I can work out by myself or with a friend
- The game shows the calories being burned in real time
- I can use the Wii Balance Board or not! (balance board usage days are alternated)
- It’s 30 bucks cheaper then WiiFit
- The game includes videos and procedures to show how to properly do lunges, bicep curls, squats, etc.
- Customizable workouts

Cons

- Not a lot of options to customize your character
- Only one strap (for one player) is included, with multiplayer play forcing the purchase of a second strap.  Initially, word was that there would be two straps included, but oh well…

Besides the two cons I really like this game.  It makes me wish I hadn’t bought the WiiFit since it seems kind of obsolete compared to this!  This game is not only designed for newbies to work out, but also enthusiasts!

Its pretty tight!

Yeah I like this better than the Wii Fit. Better personal training software, gets you more active, seems more fun, etc etc. I went and looked at the videos on the Wii Active site and it got me pumped! Gonna buy one this weekend.
