Behold: Internet rumors! Kotaku reports that (SURPRISE!) Activision likes money! Realizing the faux paus that missing out on releasing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on the Wii resulted in not achieving an extra million games sold (a la the tally for CoD5: WaW for Wii) it appears as though Activision is about to announce the release of the original MW for the little white system. Yup, that’ll be a full two sequels back when it should release on November 10th.
Any other details? Nope. All we “know” is that it is being handled by Treyarch in their year off of COD releases. No other hints at any other possible inclusions to make this worthwhile as a pickup, such as integrated DLC, control changes, tanooki suits, etc.
Our guess/opinion is that unless this is genuinely something new-ish, you’d best save your Wii cash for Dead Space: Extraction or Resident Evil: DC.
