Christian Game Soterion Coming to XBox 360

I have to confess:  I know nothing about Christian gaming or Soterion.  From what I’ve deduced, it is a game world (self described as Christian Fantasy Roleplaying World) built around the Bible stories and is in development as a novel, an RPG book, and now a PC/360 game.

Working with N’Lightning, a Christain software developer, creators LampLight Media announced the game recently via their Twitter account, with no other news available.

With the popularity of gaming reaching new heights all the time, it’s a wonder that there haven’t been more religiously-themed games released.  Sorry, Left Behind.  There might be a new kid on your block.

    I’m curious to know if the name has anything to do with the Greek word soter, which happens to be the S in the Ichthys acronym associated with the so-called “Jesus fish.”
