Yeah, I know. It’ll only be the SECOND Final Fantasy MMO. However, it’ll still be waaaaay better looking as seen by the latest batch of artwork that Square has revealed. Character designs are quite reminiscent of Final Fantasy XI, but the lay of the land appears to be much more far-reaching into the fantasy realm. Yes, castles on bridges.
One bit I find interesting is the art for action cards that are shown. Could this latest Final Fantasy include card games a la FFIX?
Joystiq has a whole slew of the images posted, which saves time for bloggers stuck at work on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. I WILL post an in-game shot, though.
