That video? It’s the trailer for Machinarium, the new game from Amanita Design (whom you might remember from the beautiful Samorost games). Yes, it’s a point-and-click adventure game. Yes, it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Machinarium tells the story of a little robot who has been thrown into a scrap yard by the nefarious Black Cap Brotherhood. The bot must make his way out and rescue his equally adorable robot girlfriend, who has been captured by said ‘hood. The game is coming this Fall for $20 (only $17 if preordered) and will appear at PAX 2009.
