the ps3 uses a dongle to wireless, the xbox’s is wireless w/o a dongle. the wii version non-platter section is wider, since it has to house a wii-mote (wii-mote not included).

Nice review… I like the fair sided arguments and your points on both sides. I can’t wait to play with one. although i have never DJ-ed anything… it looks like a ton of fun and maybe a good learning thing for me. or a great drunken evening with a group of equally ill equipped friends

I had a lot of fun playing this on 360. It’s too bad it most likely won’t sell well because of the niche factor, the game itself is jam packed with quality.

Despite being an electronica artist for about a decade, I didn’t own turntables until about a week ago. I’ve wanted them for that whole decade, but I just never could bring myself to pump out the dough for ‘em. After playing DJ Hero my desire for turntables was rekindled and multiplied. Now I’m learning the basics and even plugging my Korg EMX-1 into one of the channels to experiment with some crazy stuff.

I never really could get into Guitar Hero or RockBand but I loved DJ Hero as soon as I picked it up. But it is exactly as you say: Its much more of a solo game than a party game.
