#FreeStuffFriday: Red Dead Redemption Swag

Red Dead Redemption is out, and if you’re reading this article it’s probably because you’re taking a bathroom break from playing it.

It’s with great pleasure that we bring you enough of the game’s promotional swag to send you back to the days of the Wild West.  No, not the giant robo-spider days, but times that were simpler and full of gambling and booze.  The swag bag includes an RDR t-shirt, a pair of branded dice, deck of cards, and the cream of the crop: Read Dead soap.

See, gamers can play for 18 hours straight and still be hygenic!

How to win.

1) Leave a comment in this post telling us your favorite Western flick.

2) Enter up to once per day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

3) Winner announced on Sunday night at 10PM EST.

Good Luck!

I say American Outlaws due to the fact it tells a modern day version of Jesse James I can under stand.

I haven’t seen a whole lot of western movies, but I really enjoyed The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Clint Eastwood rules!

  • Probably Dirty Harry unless Firefly/Serenity counts…

  • Cheechcs2d

Favorite movie has to he Wild Wild West ;) oh yeah lol. Will Smith was funny in that movie

  • Matt Wetzel

Favorite western? That’s tough. I like The Quick and the Dead a lot, though the Magnificent Seven and Young Guns are both great too.

  • LeClerc

Not a flick per se, but Deadwood was the best show I have ever seen. IF I had to pick a movie, Open Range was pretty good.

  • The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly of course…

  • Once Upon a Time in the West, easily.

  • Rob

Either Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid or 3:10 to Yuma (the new one).

  • triangle

Movie: The Magnificent 7, tv: deadwood of course :D

  • James Lockwood

DO WANT. Favourite western has to The Good, the Bad & the Ugly!

  • I say American Outlaws due to the fact it tells a modern day version of Jesse James I can under stand.

  • Although it was long and drawn out, I really liked The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

  • Bob

    Does Blazing Saddles count?

  • Matt Wetzel

I’m going to go with the Good, The Bad, and The Ugly today.

I am going to say today’s pick would be Wild Wild West as it is Steam Punk kinda west … :)

  • Ravi P.

Wild Wild West, because it’s the only movie I’ve seen that qualifies as a western.

  • Cheechcs2d

Wild Wild West because will smith was hilarious in that movie and it’s really similar to RDR

  • ATC 1982
