Today, I watched this Mario and his incredible details get created out of a tree stump.
With a chainsaw.
The artist, a woodworker in Michigan decked out in facial protection, resembled Dead Space’s Isaac Clarke more so than a lumberjack. This truly bad-ass statue was carved from start to finish with the spinning blades, and then painted by hand to completion.
