The Evening Report: Found Makarov Edition

THE GREATEST BANNER EVER

You read that title right, people. We found Makarov. And be we I mean “some dudes”, and by “found Makarov” I mean “it turns out it’s a live action Modern Warfare fan trailer on Youtube”. In all the hustle and bustle that happened today we may have completely forgotten the real issues, so hit the jump to find today’s collection of stuff you gotta read.

Richard Mitchell, one of our best buds over at Joystiq has a glimpse of Beyond Good and Evil HD, the tuned up re-release of the critically acclaimed game of the same name that nobody bought. The internet seems to collectively feel that good sales numbers for this version of the game is the last chance it has to see the long rumored and anticipated sequel, so take a look and then buy it.

If you don’t think it looks awesome? Buy it anyway, you monster.

There’s a pretty good chance you are a fan of Penny Arcade. It’s the webcomic that launched a thousand imitators, started an awesome charity, and even have a couple of games under their belts to boot. There’s also a pretty good chance you’re a fan of MineCraft, the creative indie darling that doesn’t really have a point but that doesn’t stop anybody from enjoying it to the fullest. Every day. Digging blocks.. damn, I need to get some more tracks to finish that awesome rollercoaster..

Huh? Oh, right. News. Penny Arcade and Mojang are teaming up to make Scrolls, a TCG/board game hybrid. If it’s half as addictive as MineCraft is, we might see the end to productivity for good.

Just clicky clicky and join us in drooling over what soon will be.
