Halo 4 revealed for Xbox

Microsoft just took the wraps off of Halo 4, the much-anticipated follow-up to Master Chief’s last adventure… Halo 3. (Zing!)

The game features an epic new storyline, bringing Master Chief and Cortana back together. The news broke with an equally epic trailer, and the news that the game will arrive in 2012. The game is the “dawn of a new trilogy” in Halo, run by 343 Industries. The trailer showcased Master Chief escaping the ship that held his hibernation, jumping around in gravity-less environments while shooting doors open. A new mechanic in Halo? We’ll see in Holiday 2012.
