In a very smart attempt to cash in on some of Farmville’s success, EA has announced that it will be releasing The Sims: Social on Facebook. This flash-based game looks to be a simplified version of The Sims that will somehow be integrated with your Facebook account. No details on how users would be charged have been released yet, but this could be a very lucrative move by EA. Bringing The Sims to Facebook makes a lot of sense given Farmville’s popularity.
