Capcom’s iOS Super Sale nets discounts on Final Fight, Street Fighter

Final Fight iPhone

As a celebration of its release, and as a part of its Super Sale on iTunes, the chaps at Capcom have discounted the price of Final Fight for the iPhone from $2.99 to just $.99. Yup, that’s less than a buck! Get your virtual thumbs ready, because the company has also dropped the price on Street Fighter IV Volt, the portable incarnation of the console game, from $6.99 to $2.99 and added two new fighters — Fei Long and Yun — to the mix, bringing the total up to 22.

Capcom also announced the release of the Street Fighter II Collection for iOS, which brings the original SFII, SFII Championship Edition, and SFII Hyper Fighting together in one app. That’s not a bad collection for fans of the series, even if you’re stuckm using virtual joysticks.

The deal on Final Fight is only good until September 19th, and SFIV Volt until September 21st.

    Sf4 volt actually works really really well on a touchscreen. As long as they keep similar control schemes for future games, iOS will be a greatmmobile fighting games platform. Of course now that ultimate mvc3 has been announced as a vita launch title, there will be stiff competition for higher production value games. Of course iOS has a price that can’t be beat.
