31 Movies For 31 Days

Over the past several years I have used the month of October to subject myself to an almost non-stop deluge of horror/thriller movies. Sometimes this works out wonderfully and I get to see some movies that I’ve either overlooked, or just missed completely due to a lack of exposure. The majority of them are found in the magical world of Netflix Instant. I’m not saying that all of these are movies you should see or should even care about. I have taken the time to watch everything from Cult Classics, to the absolute dregs of the “Hollywood”.

In the coming 31 days I will attempt to not only watch and review 31 movies, but simply survive the onslaught of horrific, disgusting, and unmentionable films that can be found out there. Not saying that all of them will be bad, but it’s the horror movie genre, and that kinda almost guarantees that there will be a lot of garbage out there.

If you would like to follow along on my journey into madness, feel free to check out my Twitter feed as I will regularly update it with the movie I plan to watch and then proceed to tear into. For the reviews themselves you can look over at my site, where you will also find previous marathons and the movies I watched for them. I will also do a weekly update here on SideQuesting to let the readers know what I’ve seen and what could be up next. I’d like to say it is a fun thing to do, but mostly it kinda drives me a bit insane by the end. However, every year I make it through, I learn a little more about myself and the best ways to survive, should I ever find myself in a real life horror movie.

I hope you all enjoy reading my reviews much more than I enjoy watching the movies.

I am a game addict, as anyone that knows me will tell you. I have been playing games since my parents got an Atari 2600 (old school woody) and haven't stopped since. Currently I fancy myself a freelance writer and amateur podcast/website host. I have been trying to hone my skills in both gaming and writing in order to achieve the perfect mesh between the two. I am happily married, and am in the midst of raising my son to be better than me in every way. I love my life and wouldn't trade it for the world.
