OSU-Nebraska_halftime

Look, I’m an absolute die hard University of Michigan fan, so much so that Saturdays around SideQuesting force the rest of the staff to “turn me off”. I absolutely hate Ohio State as our top sports rival.┬áBut DAMN if this video game inspired half time show isn’t absolutely epic.

Performed during half time of yesterday’s absolute drubbing of Nebraska in Columbus, the OSU marching band plays and performs through Mario, Pokemon, Halo, and Zelda to a crowd that goes absolutely bonkers. We’ve seen game-themed halftime shows before, but this one trumps them all. Well done, OSU band.

Also, I still hate your football team.

Michigan, in a show of nerd niche one-upmanship, responds with classic anime scenes, including classic memorable scenes like “Krillin gets blown up by Frieza” and “Shinji doing weird stuff in a hospital.”

I didn’t have time to watch the video AND read the text, so please post this again.
