Trailer Check: Wreck-it-Ralph goes 32-bit, Hotline Miami, Halo 4, and sketching mechs

Disney has really been doing a great job with the viral marketing for Wreck-It Ralph. Just last week they teased us with a retro 8-Bit Eighties styled trailer, and now they’re back with one that takes place in 1997. This video shows us the fictional game Sugar Rush, which is like an annoying Strawberry Shortcake kart racer. You can bake a car! It’s all very reminiscent of the early Playstation 1 era of kart games.

The 2nd part of the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn live action series has been released, and focuses much more on the interaction between the cadets than the previous episode.

I know nothing about Hotline Miami, but after watching this… disturbing video teaser for it, I’m slightly intrigued. Not by the crazy pig guy, mind you, but because of the retro GTA feel to the actual game.

Good buddy to SideQuesting and Hollywood concept artist supreme, Scott Robertson, is putting out a series of online tutorials for drawing mechs. With Hawken coming soon, we’re ready to don the giant metal armor… maybe sketching is the closest we’ll get in real life any time soon. Part one is above, and part two below.
