Ubisoft showed off a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist at E3 today. The trailer features Sam Fisher, no longer voiced by Michael Ironside, discussing the titular ‘Blacklist,’ with various other spies in rooms filled with computer screens.
The Blacklist seems to be a list of targets that group calling themselves ‘The Engineers,” will eliminate each week if the United States doesn’t remove occupying troops from other countries. There was a quick glimpse of a first-person perspective, presumably from the returning Spies vs. Mercs and cooperative multiplayer modes. In previous iterations of Spies vs. Mercs, one team took control of the nimble and stealthy spies in the third-person, while the other team controlled the heavily-armed mercenaries in first-person.
