Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs Trailer Leaks Ahead of E3

The E3 2013 trailer for the NSA Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs leaked earlier today on All Games Beta. Intended to air during Ubisoft’s official E3 press conference, the trailer was uploaded to Vimeo by a user named Aiden Pearce, which is the name of Watch Dogs’ protagonist. Either that’s a sign the leak was intentional, or whoever released the video has a sense of the comical irony of a game about hacking being leaked.

The CG trailer features anti-hero Aiden Pearce using all different kinds of communication technologies to track a nondescript man through the city to the man’s human trafficking operations. Pearce hacks his way inside and dispatches the man’s compatriots while leaving him wounded for the police, all while delivering a gravely monologue about his motivations. As the police drag the man away, Pearce broadcasts the man’s face and crimes across every screen in the city, with the caption of “I’m watching you.”

You’ll be able to see more of Watch Dogs at E3 tomorrow, and it’ll release on current and next-gen consoles this fall.
