Atlus explodes the Internet with Persona news: Persona 5, Persona 4 dancing games, P4U, and Persona Q

Winter 2014. That’s late next year, not early, mind you. That’s the date that ATLUS just gave us for Persona 5, coming to PS3. The sequel to the mind-bending RPG series last saw a full sequel in 2008, with P4G on the Vita being an impressive update to that. Nothing else has been revealed about the game beyond that, but it was enough to send the niche series’ rabid fans into exploding excitement.

But wait, there’s more!

That was just the final cherry on an already impressive Sunday.

Prior to that, ATLUS announced a couple more spinoffs of Persona 4 for the Vita: a rhythm dance game (Dancing All Night) and the sequel to Persona 4 Arena, named Persona 4 Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, or P4U for short.

Finally, the company let rip a new game for the 3DS. Persona Q: Shadow of Labyrinth mixes characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 in a chibi-styled RPG in the vein of Etrian Odyssey IV.

A banner day for Persona fans, indeed. Though, no word at all if any of these will make it Stateside.
