As I walked out to my snow-covered mailbox today, I was hardly expecting a gift from Santa Mario, but that’s exactly what happened. Featuring a note from Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime, the company sent to me (and presumably its “biggest Wii U fans”) a gift card worth $40!
To Pizza Hut.
Though the nearest Hut is about 12-15 miles from my home and I would have totally chosen a stack of Hot ‘N Ready deep dish delights in its place, far be it from me to look a gift horse in the mouth. This is free pizza we’re talking about. And with Fils-Aime previously holding the position of Senior Director over at the Hut, I’m sure that link spilled over here some.
I wonder what this does to my Wii Fit U workouts. Like, will the game know if I chow down on a Bigfoot and try to run a half-marathon on Wuhu Island?
