Here we go! The new Batmobile is revealed, obscured a bit by Ben Affleck wearing the new Batman costume!
The new machine is decidedly less Tumbler than in the past, yet it manages to capture some of the edgy tectonic plates or armor that made the previous Batmobile so iconic.
Batman himself is also sporting new gear. The suit is now more rubberized, eschewing the plates of armor from the past. The hood and cape are one unit now as well. I like the indicated logo/outline on the chest, as it carries a more retro graphic design as well.
I’m sure we’ll see more as the filming continues in Detroit this week!
