Taking the stage at EVO 2014 today, Tekken’s Game Director/Chief Producer Katsuhiro Harada announced (officially) that Tekken 7 was on its way. Leaks this weekend told us that the game was built on Unreal Engine 4, and that it’s coming in 2015.
Not much else is known, but after the above trailer was played, Harada mentioned that more would be revealed at the Tekken panel at San Diego Comic Con. Also, this seems to have more of a narrative than previous games, as the trailer ends with all sorts of “final battle” wording about Heihachi’s deeds. Tekken 7: This Time It’s Personal. Also With A Giant Boxing Kangaroo Probably.
