This coming November, Blizzard will be celebrating 10 years of World of Warcraft.
OMG 10 years?
I’ve had an on-off relationship with this game, being sucked in and out whenever a new MMO pops up. Anyways, here is what Blizzard has in store for us.
Tarren Mill vs. Southshore
If you have been playing World of Warcraft since the vanilla days, then you would remember the original battleground, the one place where memories and scars were formed and where my PC was telling me how much of an upgrade it needed because of amount of players that on the field that day. Now Blizzard wants to recapture that feeling with a Team Deathmatch-style Battleground. Unlike the old days, there will now actually be a victor.
Molten Core Boosted
Remember the 40-man days of World of Warcraft? Where the elite of the elites combined to take down the bosses? It was a rare occasion, especially since only a few guilds have had that ability to make it that far. Blizzard will now allow you to participate in a special 40-player Raid Finder version to relive the experience. Downing the Firelord will earn you an Achievement and a special Core Hound mount.
