Link. Cat Princess. Tanooki Mario. These characters (and more) look like they’ll be coming to Nintendo’s Mario Kart 8, if this OOPSIE page on Nintendo’s UK store has anything to prove. The site lists the DLC as being able to be preordered (?) for the massively popular game.
“The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8 – AOC Pack – Digital Download” will come in 2 packs, in November 2014 and May 2015 respectively, and include 2 cups and 8 tracks each. They’ll also include three new characters and new vehicles in each pack. All for 7 English Pounds. The image above shows off Warios Gold Mine (from Mario Kart Wii) as well as F-Zero and Excitebike inspired tracks.

That’s a hefty ton! No battle courses have been announced, which is a bummer because that’s what we actually really just want, right?
Anyhoo, no official word from Nintendo, but with the leaky faucet over there these days, we’re sure to see something soon.
