It seems as though Saints Row is the gift that keeps on giving. Last year, the fourth in the series was released, pitting the now Presidential posse of Saints in an epic ant-alien invader battle. The game was followed by plenty of DLC throughout 2013 & early 2014, and we were led to believe that the content push was over. Many people may have even missed the game (shame on you!).

Well guess what? Saints Row IV is coming back! Announced during their PAX Prime 2014 panel this weekend, Volition and publisher Deep Silver are bringing the game to the newest generation (PS4 & Xbox One). Saints Row IV: Re-Elected brings the full game, remastered for better everything, to the consoles on January 27, 2015. The game is being ported by High Voltage Software, whose last big console effort was the Conduit series. The game will drop in at $29.99, which may be a perfect price considering it contains all of the already released DLC.

But wait, there’s more! Launching that VERY SAME DAY is the latest stand-alone DLC, Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell, which takes the Saints to — you guessed it — Hell. The game will feature 2-player co-op in an area roughly 50% the size of Steelport. Expect demonic & Biblical elements to be included, albeit in some strange ways.

And finally, the companies announced the availability of the Saints Row IV PC SDK to the public, allowing modders to take the game to some hopefully obscene levels. Purple dildos are just the beginning, folks.
