“I’m gonna show you something beautiful.”
The robot Ultron’s words ring in an evil tone as the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, the sequel to the amazing 2012 film, arrives to the world. Marvel was initially going to reveal it during Agents of Shield next week, but the Iternet (Hail Hydra!) made a leak, forcing Marvel’s hand a full week early.
Ultron, created by Tony Stark, runs amok in the world, and its up to the Avengers to stop it/him. Stark himself is put in the crosshairs for unleashing the creation, and is even seen wearing the amazing Hulkbuster armor while taking on Bruce Banner’s Hulk alter ego. This could potentially lead into the rumored “Civil War” plot line that will be a part of Captain America 3 and Avengers 3.
This is the first time we hear James Spader voicing the monster, and his interpretation already seems to nail it. We know Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver are in the film, too, to add more amazing characters to the cast.
Avengers: Age of Ultron arrives on May 1, 2015.
