Cards Against Humanity’s Ten Days or Whatever of Kwanzaa Unenveloping

Cards Against Humanity’s Ten Days or Whatever of Kwanzaa Unenveloping

Holiday-Bullshit

It’s that time a year again and Cards Against Humanity’s Holiday Bullshit is starting to hit mailboxes. This year’s bullshit is named “Ten Days or Whatever of Kwanzaa” and promises an even bigger prize to the whomever solves their puzzle. Whether you’re just curious what $15 could have netted you or are trying to solve the puzzle, follow along as we document each day’s “gift.” Be warned these gifts were created by the CAH team, so more than likely they will be NSFW. Card Against Humanity amazed everyone last year by sending out custom answer cards with the recipient’s name printed on it.

Day 1

Day 1 of  Cards Against Humanity’s Holiday Bullshit picks right back up where last year’s left off with a fancy set of one-off custom CAH cards. Clearly the people up in Chicago are impressed with my derriere and have predicted my untimely demise. With the Cards Against Humanity team leading off with their biggest gift from last year, one has to wonder what surprises they have in store for us this year.

Day 2

Day 2 of the Ten Days or Whatever of Kwanzaa is a set of reusable stickers. While they strongly encourage you not to stick them anywhere public, they ask you take photos and use the hashtag #CAHStickers if you do. These stickers, as you can see below, are not something you would want to be caught sticking to your office water cooler. Personally, I have a special one picked out for Dali’s office door.

Day 3

Another Ten Days of Kwanzaa or Whatever gift arrived in our mailbox, but we can’t be certain that it is Day 3 since this one didn’t include a note. The envelope did include a ten pack of Cards Against Humanity cards titled “The Ghost of Kwanzaa Past.” The pack contains eight white cards, two black cards and a fun fact that indicates you would under no circumstances want to kiss an ancient Roman. The standout of the pack has to be the “Harnessing the miraculous power of the atom to slaughter 200,000 Japanese people” card.

Day 4

The funny pages marked their return to the annual Holiday Bullshit collect as today’s Ten Days of Kwanzaa or Whatever gift. The comics are a nice collection of artists from around the interwebs. They are a bit difficult to photograph in our little photo booth, so here is a link to a downloadable version of the zine.

Day 5

Ten Days of Kwanzaa or Whatever is chugging right along and gift 5 introduces us to The Ghost of Kwanzaa Present card pack. After reading some of the answer cards, it’s clear that the CAH team didn’t have these planned out months in advance. Some of these cards had to of been thought of relatively recently.

Day 6

Much like last year, this year’s Holiday Bullshit includes a fun little party game. Slap .45 from Gnarwhal Studios is an old western slap card game for 3 to 7 players. We haven’t had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but after looking through the cards and rules; it could be a great game to break out at holiday parties this year.
