Here it is… The official first trailer for the sixth season of The Walking Dead! The incredible 5th season concluded with the ideologies of Rick and Morgan facing off in what should have been a happier moment.
In the first trailer for Season 6 — released today at San Diego Comic Con — we see that clash of minds continue. Rick seems to be getting darker, more demanding (are we ever going to to see positive Rick again?). This is putting him at odds not only with the now-returned Morgan, but with others of his group of survivors and their Alexandria townmates.
But the action won’t stay within the walls. The trailer shows us hordes of zombies, including one GIANT herd, people hiding from zombies, and a grass-covered walker that will haunt your nightmares for months. So bad ass!
One question remains: beyond fleeting mentions of “the Wolves”, will this season finally give us Negan, one of the most vile rivals for Rick in this new world?
The Walking Dead returns October 11th to AMC in a 90-minute season premiere, where it hopes to retain its title as the biggest show in America.
