Earlier this year, Nintendo revealed the next Pokémon game(s), Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, and that they would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS this year. Well, now we have an official date: Friday, November 18.
With just a short trailer today, the company set social media on fire; fans were crying, people were hugging, everyone was voting for Bernie. The company showed the updated X & Y engine that powers Sun & Moon, providing a large open-ish world to explore.
But wait, there’s more! The trailer also revealed the three incredibly adorable new starter Pokémon: Rowlet (a little owl), Litten (another cat), and Popplio (a seal). Just look at them. LOOK AT THEM.
Rowlet seems to have taken the world by storm, and how can it not? It’s a baby owl. I want one in real life.

The two Legendaries were shown, but unnamed. The company also released an advert in Japan that, well, made me weep. We can’t wait until November.
