As if you need any more hype today.
The first official trailer for Assassin’s Creed has arrived, giving us high hopes for video game movies yet again. Michael Fassbender is the star of the upcoming film, which is set during the Spanish Inquisition. The Abstergo corporation is there, giving Fassbender’s character of Callum Lynch the ability to head into his ancestor’s past via the staple Assassin’s Creed hook of the Animus.
It seems to draw a lot from the original Assassin’s Creed game, at least in theme.
