[E3 2016] Forza Horizons 3 takes us out back to Australia

Forza is back again this year with the flip-flop between the mainline series and Horizon. Forza Horizon 3 will be arriving this September to Xbox One and Windows 10, bringing with it the more arcade-like racing that has made it almost more beloved than Forza proper.

This year’s edition will take the race to Australia, and feature the largest open world course that the series has seen yet. From beaches to deserts, rainforests to suburbs, the game will give us the most varied places to go with our cars yet. Day and night, rain and shine, water and dust; all of these will no only give our eyes something to gawk at, but also affect how our cars handle.

And oh those cars! Lamborghini is the cover athlete this time, but Horizons 3 will also feature rally cars, sports cars, trucks, and more. That includes even more detailed interiors and engine bays for our enjoyment. Developer Turn 10 will be bringing over 350 vehicles from more manufacturers than ever to the series.

The game will also allow console and PC fans to play against each other, as it includes Microsoft’s new “Xbox Anywhere” cross-play backbone.
