We are the aliens now in the first big trailer for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Set “hundreds of years” after a group of humans leave the Milky Way Galaxy — presumably during the Reaper invasion — Andromeda places us in the boots of the Pathfinder, an explorer meant to lead humanity to a new home. The game will ask us to explore Andromeda, meet new species, and run up against new foes.
Players will choose one of the two Ryder siblings, Sarah or Scott, and for the first time regardless of which sex is chosen, both will be in the game.
The game will launch in Spring 2017, and more information will be revealed along with a full gameplay trailer at December’s Game Awards.
