Well, that was quick.
Mere hours after the game leaked at retailers, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War was officially announced this morning by WB Games. Coming August 22, the game is slated for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox Scorpio (?) and PC/Steam. A full gameplay reveal is coming March 8.

Peculiarly, no firm date was ever given by Microsoft for its Project Scorpio console, but if Shadow of War is launching for it on August 22, then… hmmm…
