Though it leaked earlier this week, Electronic Arts formally revealed Star Wars Battlefront II at the Star Wars Celebration today.
Expectedly, it’s more of what made 2015’s Battlefront a popular game: multiplayer battles set within the Star Wars universe. UNexpectedly, the game includes a single player campaign set between Return of the Jedi and Force Awakens, and takes place through the eyes of a soldier within the fallen Empire.
Modes in the game allow for play as characters from all three “eras” of the series: the prequels, the originals and the new trilogy. Want to pit Darth Maul against Rey? Yup, go ahead.
Star Wars Battlefront II arrives November 17 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
