Upcoming action RPG The Surge is due to land soon, and with it has come a snazzy launch trailer.
Set in a far future where society has essentially fallen apart, the game mixes cyberpunk elements with dystopian traits to reveal a violent, albeit intriguing, story. The Deck13-developed game involves on third-person combat with an emphasis on being able to focus on specific body parts of enemies to weaken them. Through body suit modular upgrades, players can become quite the bad ass.
We enjoyed the game at E3 last year, especially the “hack away limbs” part.
The Surge launches for PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 16.
