The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been an departure from the first two seasons (and short mini-series), setting up a very different set of choices and consequences — and terrors. With the finale launching on Tuesday, it’s the culmination of the entire Telltale Series as a whole, both thematically and narratively.
A lot is expected of it, and the development team is treating it as such.
The new trailer tells us that things are happening, times are difficult, and everything we’ve done so far is coming to a head in this finale. If it’s as powerful as the finales of past seasons of the series, we can be safe in assuming that it could live up to those high expectations.
Episode 5: From the Gallows launches on Tuesday May 30 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC/Steam, iOS and Android.
