While it’s not the official first full trailer, Marvel chose to drop a lengthy teaser for its upcoming Black Panther film during the NBA Finals tonight.
Chadwick Boseman takes the lead in the movie as the heroic king of the African nation of Wakanda to succeed his recently deceased father as an enemy rises. Also featured in the trailer are Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B Jordan, who have joined the cast. Black Panther picks up right after Captain America: Civil War, where Boseman’s portrayal of the character first appeared.
Black Panther is due in February 2018.
