The Game Awards 2017 adds orchestra, new voting opportunities

Even though it’s not the only one, The Game Awards has certainly become the most publicized video game award show, dropping in December every year with winners, losers, new awards, music and WORLD PREMIERES. This year is going to be no different.

The show, taking place on December 7, will for the first time feature “The Game Awards Orchestra,” a collection of live symphonic and rock music that will bring together musicians of many backgrounds playing music from the biggest games of the year.

Also new this year is the ability for fans to vote on specific (unannounced at press time) categories across Facebook Messenger, Twitter, and even Google Search.

While the full lineup and awards hasn’t been announced yet, voting kicks off on November 14. Get ready to click, as the show airs on December 7th at 6PM PST/9 EST from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
