Nodding Heads Games is a small indie developer out of India, and has chosen the history of their native land as the focus of their upcoming project.
Raji: An Ancient Epic stars protagonist Raji as she serves the gods to find her brother and defeat Mahabalasura, an evil demon. The team of developers visited locations in India and Bali as inspiration, using their findings to create stunning hand-painted backdrops and environments for their game world.
The game itself features in an isometric view, playing like a standard action adventure with some lite RPG elements thrown in. Raji can align with different gods for different abilities and effects as her quest unfolds.
The game’s Kickstarter ends in just a few days with a goal of about $160,000.
