Persona 5 was one of the favorite games among Team SideQuesting last year, and so a licensed anime can only be welcomes with open arms.
Atlus/SEGA have announced that Persona 5 The Anime will be viewable in the US alongside the Japanese version on the same day, April 7. The film will stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu, and brings along the majority of the voice cast from the game.
The film itself is an adaptation of the game, as Ren Amamiya awakens his persona and forms The Phantom Thieves of Hearts to unravel the mystery behind the corruption in citizens’ hearts and its link to strange crimes throughout the city.
