Suda51’s masterpiece is making a comeback.
Announced at Momocon today, Suda51 revealed that killer7 will be coming to Steam this year. The psychological action thriller stars Harman Smith, a man who manifests his murderous intents into 7 different assassins, each with the surname of Smith, as he tracks down an equally brutal villain. Known for its high contrast art direction and tense gameplay, the game became a classic on the Gamecube and PS2.
The re-release will bring the game up to today’s standards, Suda said on stage, though that may just mean up-rezzed visual fidelity to work on modern screens rather than a full remake.
