With so many games announced and arriving this year, Overkill’s The Walking Dead has flown a bit under the radar. After the first few trailers, however, it may be worthy of our attention.
The 4-player co-op FPS isn’t attached to any of the previous Walking Dead games, and its only known tie to the franchise is in the hordes of undead walkers themselves. This gives it a bit of freedom to play around with concept and execution — and characters. That’s where this latest trailer comes in. After having already released trailers for two of the characters, Aiden and Maya, the most recent one gives us a look at Grant.
Grant looks like a weathered dude, perhaps he’s even that survivalist that lives down the street from you and keeps every bit of aluminum he finds in your neighbor’s trash. Maybe we should have paid attention to him, since he seems to know what he’s doing in this reveal trailer.
Look for Overkill’s The Walking Dead from Starbreeze, SkyBound and 505 Games to hit consoles and PC this Fall.
