The next Halo game is revealed!
During it’s E3 2018 press conference, Microsoft and 343 kicked off the show with an engine-based look at the next Halo game, Halo Infinite. Much like the Halo Guardians reveal several years ago, Infinite debuted with a cinematic-ish trailer made in which we see the extremes of Earth, from post-war to vibrant, desolate to frozen. And Master Chief holding his helmet at his hip. Will we see him with his helmet actually off? Who knows.
The game is being developed in the new Slipspace Engine.
No release date, nor any other information about what kind of game it is. But it looks pretty. And it’s supposedly taking the future of the series in bold new directions.
