What we meant to say was that Daisy *AND* Ridley are coming to Super Smash Bros Ultimate, joining the Inkling Girl as new playable characters. Whoops!
Daisy both the two will make their first starts as a playable character, while in the past serving as assist trophies and the like.
Ridley is large and imposing, and will pummel opponents with his fists and whip with his tail. His Final Smash launches players up against Samus’s ship. Daisy has a set of moves similar to Peach, as she’s the other Princess’s “Echo” character.
The Inklings, meanwhile, will rely on smart use of ink to cause more damage to their opponents. They bring with them four different weapons — The Splattershot, Splat Bomb, Splat Roller and Killer Whale — and when enough ink is drained they need to recharge to have battle power. They come in eight different colors and styles for selecting, and their Final Smash includes the Squid Sisters.
