Since revealing No Man’s Sky years ago, and launching a couple of years back, the major draw of the game was supposed to be expansive, interactive play.
That’s finally happening.
Developer Hello Games has announced that No Man’s Sky‘s “Next” update will arrive “next” week, on July 24. The update features a lot of big changes, that many are receiving with open arms.
The big draw will be the multiplayer, allowing players to meet up, explore, and battle with each other and possibly even the randos they encounter. New terrain generation, larger bases, linkable bases, and space battle and flotillas are all coming. The update launches next week on PS4, Xbox One and PC for free.
