Disney has announced the cast and filming schedule of Star Wars IX.
Episode IX will have much of the cast from Last Jedi return, but will also include the Infinity War snapped Luke. Carrie Fisher, who recently passed away, will be featured in the film as well, using never before seen footage from The Force Awakens. Also returning will be Billy Dee Williams’ Lando, alongside new cast members that include Keri Russell.
JJ Abrams will return to direct the film, which begins shooting on August 1st and is scheduled for release December 2019.
