Lan Di returns in the latest trailer for the game.
The series’ antagonist makes an appearance, showcasing a potential culmination of events that will take place in the Ys Net developed game. Shenmue III is set a few years after the second game, instead of the actual decades that have passed in real time, so fans can probably expect to see some favorite characters from the games return.
The game, which was crowdsourced years ago with an initial release date of December 2017, will now release on August 27, 2019 on the PS4 and PC.
