Gameplay revealed for the biggest upcoming game of the year.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches later this year, but the marketing machine is now in full effect. Developer Rockstar Games has just dropped the first in a series of new trailers aimed at showcasing gameplay aspects. In this clip, we see in-engine, in-game play depicting the cast of characters hunting, interacting, building camps and playing poker.
Key to the video is the lead, Arthur Morgan, and his interactions with NPCs, from sheriffs and gang members to the cousins of those he has killed. These interactions form relationships, both good and bad, shaping how the narrative plays out.
Shot completely in 4K from a PS4 Pro, the video whets our appetites for the game’s arrival on October 26 of this year.
