Jackbox Party Pack 5 coming October 17 to everything

Is your toaster’s OS up-to-date? It better be, since the next Jackbox game will probably be on it.

Jackbox Games has announced that the Jackbox Party Pack 5 will launch on October 17, 2018. That’s a little over 3 weeks away, for those without calendars. The best part? It launches for basically every device. That fancy new iPhone XS Max? Check. PlayStation 4 Pro? Yup. Android Toaster 4.8? Sure. Even Nintendo’s Switch! Heck, there’s probably no getting away from the game, to be honest.

That might be okay, actually. We’ve really enjoyed the past Jackbox party packs, so our expectations are just as high. This time around, the pack will include a revamped version of You Don’t Know Jack, drawing game Patently Stupid, rap lyric game Mad Verse City, action-y game Zeeble Dome, and Split the Room. Up to 8 players can face off in these gems, all playing through their mobile devices (or even laptops, to be honest) as they battle it out.
