The more we see of Thronebreaker, the more we’re intrigued by its mix of CCG and RPG gameplay.
The spun off single-player portion of The Witcher 3′s minigame Gwent continues to grow in scale, as the latest video above shows a full gameplay session totally over 37 minutes. The video details now only how the card battling will pan out, but also how players will interact with the overworld, with other characters, and how the plot will unfold.
The giant world map will be explorable across 5 kingdoms, with plenty of sidequests becoming available along the way and even a camp to upgrade and recruit soldiers.
Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tale‘s launches later this month on PC and Mac.
